Police Breathalyzers - TYPE APPROVED

All breathalyser devices used by the police in the UK must be approved by the Secretary of State (The Home Office). All breathalysers submitted for type approval undergo a series of rigorous technical tests and trials before being approved. This document outlines the process involved in getting a device type approved.
